Club Background

Trying to get younger members into the American Legion we were trying to find new things to do to get people involved. After finding out about the American Legion Riders we got permission from Post 15 to host a Legion Riders Organization. From there we decided to open it up to all the Legions with in SD District 1, which includes 4 counties. We spent the first 6 months setting up our chapter, then our elections and from there we started switching post every quarter. (We wanted to get other Legions involved, but at the same time not confusing people about the meetings, so we decided to switch once a quarter).
